Coleco ADAM 1MB RAM Expander Board

Description

The Lundy Electronics Coleco ADAM 1MB RAM Expander Board is a Lundy Electronics exclusive design. It uses low-cost, currently-active components from major USA parts suppliers. The design only requires two ICs and passes the saving onto the buyer to make it the lowest cost 1MB RAM expander ever made for the Coleco ADAM.

Like all ADAM RAM expanders, it requires an additional “memory addressor” signal not available on the third slot where the 1MB RAM Expander is placed to break the 64K expansion size barrier. This signal can be obtained from one of three additional Lundy Electronics center-slot expansion board options.

• MIB238-WiFi board (also offers WiFi modem, terminal serial port, parallel port, and XROM socket)

Note: Without a memory addressor signal applied, this board will only offer 64K of RAM expansion.

Note: This expansion board gets installed in the third (right-most) internal ADAM expansion slot. It is designed in such a way to prevent it from being inserted backwards but also has a silk screened front with arrow direction on the backside of the PCB for additional reference.
